Brad Pitt is set to re-open an iconic music studio in the French chateau where Pink Floyd and AC/DC recorded music.
Originally opened in 1977 by the winery’s former owner, French jazz musician, pianist and composer Jacques Loussier, the studio attracted artists to the small village of Correns where they could record their music while soaking in the Provence sun.
Before it closed its doors 20 years ago, the studio produced tracks from a long list of artists that also included Wham!, The Cure, Morrissey, Bryan Ferry, Sade, Judas Priest and Muse.
Pitt bought the property with his former wife Angelina Jolie in 2012, although she has since sold her 50 per cent stake to a subsidiary of Stoli Group.
The chateau winery is known for its Miraval Rosé wines.
