The countdown is on for the opening of chef Ferran Adrià's newest restaurant venture, which takes inspiration from the tradition of long, leisurely Sunday lunches in Italian households.
Called Condividere, which means "sharing" in Italian, the restaurant is set to open in June inside the recently inaugurated Lavazza headquarters in Turin, Nuvola Lavazza.
The opening comes from the chef who helmed elBulli in Catalonia, Spain, which shuttered in 2011 at the height of its popularity after being crowned the title of world's best restaurant five times.
Unlike the ritualistic tasting menu, meals at Condividere will be much more informal. As its name suggests, dishes are meant to be shared amongst fellow diners, much like casual Sunday meals among Italian families.
